ZSJZ-G沟槽式水流指示器是由阀体、上盖、桨叶、S变向轴、支架、微动开关等组成。阀体采用球墨铸铁（Q450-12），上盖采用铜合金，S变向轴采用不锈钢材料，本产品采用卡箍连接，安装方便、快捷。The ZSJZ-G Ditch Groove Water Flow Indicator consists of the valve body, the upper cover, blades, the S turning axis, props and a micro switch etc. The valve body uses ductile iron (Q450-12); the upper cover employs copper alloy; and the S turning axis uses stainless steel materials. With the use of the bolt connection, the product is easily and quickly installed.

当某一被保护区发生火灾时，喷头熔爆，开始喷水灭火。管网中水流指示器的桨叶在水流作用下倾斜，当倾斜达到一定的角度时，S变向轴上的螺帽开始挤压微动开关，使其触点闭合，由水流信号转变成电信号。当水停止流动时，桨叶及S变向轴复位，微动开关触点断开，电信号消除。
